I loved him so much. Got to know everyone's names week 1. As long as you do the homework and use that to study you should be okay on the quizzes.ACCT1201 2025-06-16 02:38:20 +0000 UTC

Professor Ahn is a wonderful professor to take. He made Accounting clear and understandable whilst also providing useful background experience. Grading is generous and you will do fine provided you understand the assigned homework. I wish he could teach my second accounting course here.ACCT1201 2025-05-15 20:59:35 +0000 UTC
Professor Ahn wasn't the most upbeat or enthusiastic professor, but he possesses a rare ability to understand your questions and walk you through them thoroughly. Also has some solid dry humor, and if you pay attention and do your homework it's a shoe-in A-.ACCT3401 2023-11-15 01:40:37 +0000 UTC
Professor Ahn is an amazing, respectful teacher. His lectures are clear, the course Canvas page is organized, he gives review materials for each chapter, and he offers consistent office hours. The course has two midterms, each worth 15%, a final worth 30%, four quizzes worth 10%, connect homework assignments, participation, and a project.ACCT1201 2025-04-27 23:42:53 +0000 UTC
He is really caring about his student although his lecture is quite boring. He always tries his best to make the lecture as much understandable as possible, and his practice sheets for every class are very helpful for the midterm. His test is straightforward and fair grader. I would love taking his class again :)ACCT3401 2022-10-09 21:41:07 +0000 UTC
Professor Ahn is the best professor that I have had at Northeastern so far. He is clearly very knowledgable about the material, passionate for teaching, and super kind. He grades generously and fairly. The class itself is pretty difficult but Professor Ahn gives you all the tools needed to succeed and all tests/quizzes are curved.ACCT1201 2025-04-27 02:33:43 +0000 UTC
His lecture could be a little boring and he is very quiet. But his lectures are very straightforward and slide heavy. I did not always understand the lectures or content, but he was trying his best to teach. He was available during office hours to explain. He provided plenty of homework and study materials and his exams were fair & nice grader.ACCT3401 2022-08-15 02:31:36 +0000 UTC
Goat, best accounting teacher. 4 quizzes out of 50 that are usually curved heavily (split between like 10 MCQ and actual problems), drop the lowest. 2 midterms, one final ( not really curved), and one group project. Teaches really thoroughly and is accessible outside of class.ACCT1201 2025-04-21 18:15:47 +0000 UTC
His lecture could be a little boring because he is a quiet person, but his lectures are very straightforward. As a result, he taught us a very difficult concept in a clear, concise manner. He advised me on my future path in the accounting profession, making him a helpful person to reach out to if you have any questions.ACCT3401 2022-02-28 01:44:13 +0000 UTC
Great professor, is available all the time for office hours and is very kindACCT1201 2025-04-21 16:01:40 +0000 UTC
Super straight forward and always gets to the point! Tests are very similar to the handouts he gives and additional questions he suggests doing from the textbook. Generous and fair grader.ACCT3401 2021-12-16 02:42:12 +0000 UTC
Accounting in general is a hard course so I can't hate too much. Professor Ahn was great at first. His quizzes were okay and he went through content slowly. When we got to the more difficult chapters, he went too fast for my liking. Very exam heavy! However, he is kind and welcoming and made an effort to get to known everyone's names.ACCT1201 2025-04-16 03:09:53 +0000 UTC
These reviews got my hopes up about this prof. Maybe bc it's an online class during a rough pandemic, but he doesn't seem engaged. Very monotone and lectures are hard to sit through. Tests are like examples and homework but still quite difficult and not enough time to finish. I'll cut him some slack for the circumstances the world is in right now.ACCT3401 2020-11-19 18:50:30 +0000 UTC
Super nice teacher and very easy grader. Makes an effort to know everybody's name. If you go to the lectures you will get a good grade in the class. Only one group project and isn't difficult.ACCT1201 2025-04-14 19:15:25 +0000 UTC
