You can't understand what he says due to his thick accent, and he just reads straight from the slides. If you ask him a question, he won't answer it correctly, and he arrives late to almost every class. There is supposed to be a presentation every class, but he yells for so long that they don't happen on time. Tests are easy and based on the book.SCHM2301 2018-11-06 13:00:59 +0000 UTC
I normally don't review professors, but I can 100% say DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS PROFESSOR. He is extremely, and I mean, extremely hard to understand... and consistently makes mistakes on the work he is teaching and testing on. It is manageable to pass his class and do well as long as you study the textbook consistently.MGSC2301 2024-12-13 23:02:17 +0000 UTC
This has so far been the worst professor I have had at school. He is hard to understand, his tests don't relate back to the book or the slides, and he does not treat students as holistic beings.SCHM2301 2018-10-11 17:08:29 +0000 UTC
my roommates have him they won't stop crying. like please don't let your roommate take him. it will ruin their lives but most importantly yours. the vibes in my apartment are thick with tension from this professor.MGSC2301 2023-12-06 00:02:02 +0000 UTC
All the work that's done in this class can be done in a couple of hours. There is no homework, other then two group presentations (each takes like one hour to prepare). You don't need to listen in class at all as he allows laptops in class. There are 4 relatively easy tests and the lowest grade is dropped. All you need to do is read the textbook.SCHM2301 2018-04-10 12:14:44 +0000 UTC
worst professor I've had at northeastern. Should not be a professor. He's difficult to understand and he does not understand the students questions. Grading makes no sense. Tests aren't very difficult but he barely gives feedback on homework so its hard to feel prepared. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS YOU WONT LEARN ANYTHING!!!!!!MGSC2301 2023-12-05 16:52:33 +0000 UTC
Mana is incredibly unprofessional and unorganized. There is zero transparency in his class and he never uses canvas. You will have no idea what your grade is until it is posted at the end of the semester in the my grades tab. He also barely speaks English and does not hand back your grades on project so you get blindsided at the end of the year.MGSC2301 2022-12-21 04:27:13 +0000 UTC
Mana is just not a good prof. He means well but just doesn't pack the punch for teaching. It is not hard to do well in the class because the content just simply is not hard but if you have the chance to take it with someone else, do it. If he is your only option as he was for me, then you will be just fine in the course. A or A- is very attainableMGSC2301 2022-12-17 17:15:15 +0000 UTC
Doesn't know how to use Canvas, so many due dates are unclear. Barely speaks English, so he fails to answer many questions. The class is business statistics, but it's barely related to business, and it's mostly a simple stats course. Fortunately, the material and tests are pretty easy so it's an easy A. Tough lecture to sit through though.MGSC2301 2022-11-17 20:56:12 +0000 UTC
Mana is the worst professor I have ever had. He goes at an unbearably slow pace and falls many chapters behind the other classes. This class is a waste of your time because you learn nothing. He does not know how to do the math and always grabs notes from your desk without asking, just so he can copy your work onto the board. DO NOT TAKE!MGSC2301 2022-11-16 18:25:07 +0000 UTC
Overall, taking this class with Professor Mana was an easy A. Show up, listen to the lectures, and take notes on how he does things and you'll do fine. But he's a huge stickler for formulas and his personal methods. Homework is essentially optional and for practice. Meticulous but easy tests and a single group project make up the overall grade.MGSC2301 2020-01-05 03:56:22 +0000 UTC
