He is obviously passionate about the world of accounting, but he is not made to teach a basic course. He rambles on a lot, is mostly hard to understand (unless accounting is your domain of interest), his questions are quite tricky and you often find yourself having to see a TA to really understand the material.ACCT1201 2012-08-23 12:01:28 +0000 UTC

Really nice guy, and really good professor. Very clear about what is expected on exams and doesn't throw many curve balls. Class is basically teaching a lesson and going over problems (be prepared to participate...) He was the only professor available to take, but I wouldn't take the class with anyone else. This guy is a genius--and most people this smart have a hard time relaying information--but he does it perfectly. EASILY the best professor I've had at NU. Great professor. Really nice guy who knows how to teach effectively. Fair grader, allows for partial credit (thank God). My only warning: he'll definitely call you out if you're not paying attention in class! Participate when you know the answer so you don't get called on when you're not ready.
