Sherman made the class quite easy and flexible. Sometimes lectures get a bit boring but take her if you're looking for the easiest class.ACCT-2301 2025-01-14 19:23:07 +0000 UTC
Eventho it was an 8am class I DO NOT regret taking her as a professor. She's understanding, humorous and seems very knowledgeable about managerial accounting at university's. Tests: do the slide problems, in class problems, & hw, you will get a good grade. Low stress class as long as you study for tests, they aren't too bad.ACCT-2301 2024-11-21 19:12:47 +0000 UTC
Best managerial acct prof. Class structure is very clear with lectures followed by practice problems review. Weekly homework which is pretty manageable and easy. Midterms and final were both easy with problems just like the homework. Take this class if you want an easy AACCT-2301 2024-05-04 14:22:26 +0000 UTC
TAKE HER IF U WANT A LIGHT AND EASY CLASS!! unlimited tries on hw (connect 5-10 Qs) Lets us leave early if we finish early. A class dedicated to practice problems for each chapter which are really helpful. EXAMS WERE VERY EASY!!!!ACCT-2301 2024-05-04 14:21:51 +0000 UTC
Worst professor I've had. She cancels class for her own "prior commitments" and ends class early when we've barely covered any content. Her tests are hard because she doesn't teach you what you need to know she just reads off the slides generated by the textbook. Won't be able to answer any of your questions she's more confused than you are. Awful.ACCT-2301 2023-12-04 19:49:02 +0000 UTC
She makes no exceptions for work that is submitted late regardless of what the reason may be. Avoid taking her accounting class if you care about your GPA! She lacks understanding and compassion when it comes to unavoidable circumstances. I just hope that the next time someone asks for an exception, she is more accommodating! Worst professor ever.ACCT-2301 2023-05-22 00:52:04 +0000 UTC
Horrible professor! Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of taking her ACCT2301 class during my last semester at Northeastern. The homework assignments and exams aren't hard, but the professor is very unaccommodating of late work even if it is due to legitimate family emergencies and will gladly give you a 0. One of the worst professors I have had!ACCT-2301 2023-05-22 00:38:01 +0000 UTC
Lectures were short and sweet and if we finished early she wouldn't try to drag on and would just let us go. Coursework is super light and is pretty much all on Connect. Very easy grader on the one case study we did do and no reason you shouldn't get a solid A in this class if you attend class and do the homework.ACCT-2301 2023-05-09 13:02:06 +0000 UTC
She is a nice person and makes the class exceptionally easy. The easiest A of any class I have taken. Everything is done through connect and you get a check my work button on the exams so if you are even remotely paying attention to the material you can get a 95+. She doesn't really teach though, just reads off slides downloaded from the textbook.ACCT-2301 2023-04-29 18:14:36 +0000 UTC
One of my favorite professors at Northeastern and I highly recommend her for managerial accounting. Used class time very well and many sessions were used to practice problems as a class, which really helped me understand the material. Tests are fair and homework is on Connect. Outside of exams and homework there are a few Excel problem sets.ACCT-2301 2023-04-12 19:27:32 +0000 UTC
