The class consistently runs 20+ minutes overtime despite already being 3.5 hours. Homework is straightforward, but exams are closed-book, closed-note, no cheat-sheet allowed. No practice exam or study guidance for exams beyond “just review the slides.” Lectures aren't recorded, and slides are uploaded days after class.IE7500 2025-10-29 15:14:40 +0000 UTC
I enjoyed Professor Braun classes, the material is up to date and provides great NLP basis. The books he refers to are great and he takes time to explain concepts in the class. His exams are difficult but he applies curving to the grades. His classes are theoretical and his homeworks and project require to apply the concepts using python.IE7500 2022-11-18 20:03:19 +0000 UTC
