He is a good professor when it comes to his availability outside of class. He also tries to treat everyone fairly. However, I think the course was incredibly hard to pass. Not only is accounting hard on its own, but I don't think I learned much from his lectures. If you choose him, I advise you to take advantage of office hours from the start.ACC1201 2021-12-26 17:27:20 +0000 UTC
Professor Thies is not a great professor; he moves too quickly and just doesn't teach well, though it is clear he knows what he is talking about. I had to read every chapter to get a slight grasp on the concepts of the class. I'd say I mostly taught myself the course, but if I ever reached out to him he would make time to meet.FINA1201 2021-12-24 04:06:55 +0000 UTC

This Professor, literally teach nothing in class and deny to communicate with the classmates. PLZ DO NOT choose him as your Professor, he will destroy your life.ACCT1101 2021-12-16 02:00:37 +0000 UTC
