Professor Gallaway is certainly one of the best professors at Northeastern. He's not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also personable and approachable. He genuinely cares about student learning and development and is always happy to answer questions. His lectures are engaging and you'll learn a lot by attending them.CHME5621 2026-02-09 23:01:31 +0000 UTC
One of my favorite teachers ever. Lectures are example-based and follow the HW and exams. Memorizes every student's name, is easy to contact, and grades fairly. Ensures each student is managing well and wants you to succeed. Do the readings and homework, you'll be fine. Fun to talk to, great music taste, would take this class again.CHME2308 2025-09-01 18:52:46 +0000 UTC
Josh is an amazing professor, probably one of the best at Northeastern. I had him for conservation principles and electrochemical engineering and he was great in both classes. He cares about his students and their learning. Very funny and an excellent professor.CHME5621 2025-12-11 02:39:50 +0000 UTC
Although I got a B+, but I think he is a good professor who explain everything in detail.CHME2308 2024-12-13 07:21:19 +0000 UTC
I had professor Gallaway for both Conservation Principles in my first year, and for his electrochemical engineering elective. He's incredibly kind and funny, and a fantastic lecturer who kept me engaged. In conservation principles, he spent a ton of time on practice problems, which was a great foundation for the rest of my coursework.CHME2308 2024-04-19 13:52:41 +0000 UTC

He's a really personable and kind guy who takes the time to get to know everyone better. The class was average difficulty for a low-level engineering course. Study and you'll be fine.CHME2308 2021-01-26 18:28:29 +0000 UTC
