Class consisted of 10 homework assignments, 3 exams, 3 quizzes, a group project, and participation + attendance. He lets us drop the lowest of the hw assignments as well as the lowest quiz, making it relatively easy to get a good grade, so long as you do well on the exams and projects. Does require buying a $100 online textbook for homework. Teaches well and is able to answer questions well. Homework every week isn't too difficult if you pay attention and/or read the textbook. last midterm 50% of the class got a 90+ on the exam. Lectures are useful if you don't understand the content, although it's fairly easy. Kai seems to really care about making it easy for students to get a full understanding of the content so that way he doesn't have to cheese a good grade with a curve. This course is straightforward. The professor breaks down the textbook material into much simpler concepts, and his slides capture all the key points. He goes through plenty of practice problems step by step, making things easy to follow. Exams are fair.
