Took the wub for innovation. To be honest the entire class really depends on your group, so please pick a good group and topic. He was genuinely not a tough grader and graded my group higher than we lowkey deserved. However the class is pretty exhausting when the assignments are all due at once. I'm genuinely confused about a lot of these negative reviews. I think a lot of the class hinges on whether you get a good group, but generally I feel like he's a pretty engaging lecturer and an understanding Professor. The course itself is somewhat strange and annoying - it requires a lot of reading/participation. As he would say, "his hands are tied" and the course kinda sucks sometimes, but he's a fairly nice person who can grade harshly. He tries his best to make it interesting. He's not as bad as people make him out to be in all reality. You definitely have to come to class and come to class ON TIME. Be sure to pick a good group at the start of the term since this will be your group for the whole term. Guy is nice but still new to teaching so he isnt the most organized, clear, tech savy, or best teacher. If you put in the time you will do fine but its so draining if you do. He is a nice guy dont get me wrong, but he holds students to a impossible standard. His grading was the harshest ive seen at neu, and he did not provide guidelines. His quizzes are purposefully confusing didnt prepare us for the final. Overall a frustrating class to attend. It was Prof. Wubneh's first semester teaching at Northeastern, so a lot of his lessons were still a work in progress, and seemed to always have some tech or other problem.
