Prof. Madaparthi is an excellent ASL teacher. He makes sure everyone understands what he signs and explains until everyone is on the same page. There are a lot of homework assignments, but they're really quick (5-10 min of hw a night). Homework MUST be turned in on time or your grade WILL suffer. Professor Krishna is very understanding and overall not a bad professor. However, he gave a lot of unnecessary assignments that were not mentioned at the beginning of the semester, like they just get assigned randomly and no reasons were provided. Professor Madaparthi is excellent at teaching ASL at a basic level. He is very nice and understanding, which creates a helpful learning environment. Attendance is required, and homework needs to be submitted on time or your grade will suffer. Professor Madaparthi was okay, however he made us work in teams and present the chapters as groups weekly for our final project and then made the class take the chapter quiz after the group presentations.
