Professor Monfared is a generous grader and the framework of the course is very straightforward. You are assigned a number of chapters a week. Of these, a couple are to be discussed in small groups, while he lectures on the rest. Coursework amounted to a weekly discussion board and a term paper. I disagree with the other reviewer. Mr. Monfared has a foreign upbringing and with that comes an accent, I do not believe it affected the course in any way. He has been supportive during our course work and adds excellent feedback during class discussions. Professor Monfared's level of English is below average which in turn creates multiple communication barriers. He lacks the ability to convey ideas clearly, methodically, and effectively.
