Terrible. One of the worst teachers who doesn't know anything and is wrong about everything. I felt as if I was learning the wrong stuff all the time. I have no idea why she's teaching....ITLN1101 2011-05-02 21:12:39 +0000 UTC
Probably one of the nicest women I've ever met in my entire life. She's hilarious and really took the time to help me even though I was terrible. DEFINITELY take her class because she is fabulousITL101 2011-01-10 17:10:07 +0000 UTC
Professor Palladino is a good professor in the sense that she wants her students to do well and makes everyone participate to cement understanding. HOWEVER, she often has no idea what she is talking about and confuses herself. When questioned, we back track and waste time while she explains the language to herself. She's so-soLNIU101 2009-04-10 18:00:10 +0000 UTC
I took both Italian 1 and 2 from her. In Italian 1 she was pretty, stern but know that she knows her Italian 2 students better she's lightened up a lot. This was one of my easiest classes, but I still learned a ton. Make sure you show up and bring you book and you'll be fine.LNI102 2008-04-07 12:39:21 +0000 UTC
She is very stern but fair. She is willing to work with her students. Make sure you always bring your book to class because she doesnt like it when people forget. I you want this as a blowoff class switch out, otherwise you will learn alot I would take Italian 2 if she is teaching the classITAL101 2007-11-13 12:44:11 +0000 UTC
This course does make you learn the language because she calls on you- but why take the course if you don't want to actually learn italian? The homework is easy and she gives practice quizzes and is always willing to help. You can tell that she really just wants you to learn the language and she tries to make it fun!LIN101 2006-11-19 12:53:13 +0000 UTC
The class itself isnt that bad she doesnt really seem to know what shes talking about but she talks to students like they are in high school, DONT BE LATE! not understanding...in general not a nice woman at all....may seem fine and then snaps for no reason...WATCH OUTITALIAN101 2006-04-04 23:57:04 +0000 UTC
Don't take her class if you don't want to be called on everyday or want a class that you can skip a lot. But if you don't mind that it's a good class. She gives out practice tests before the real ones so you always know what to expect. There is homework almost everyday but it isn't hard.ITALIANU101 2005-12-09 01:40:53 +0000 UTC
Probably the worst teacher i've ever had. She's an idiot to be blunt. An american who never learned italian enough to teach it.... very annoying and the class was pointless. I really wudn't recommend it. I learned nothing the whole semster. She's wrong about everything and it was as waste of time.....horrible. god awful.ITLN1101 2011-05-02 21:09:42 +0000 UTC
Pretty good class. Makes everyone participate. Very little oral presentations, tests are really easy, and one short essay at the most. Sometimes she can be a pain in the ass, but i would say 90% of the time i really enjoyed her and the class. If you are really interested in learning Italian, i would recommend this class and her for a professor.LNIU101 2008-04-18 16:06:47 +0000 UTC
she kind of forces you to learn the language because she will call on you a million times a day, but you don't feel as much pressure in her class as in other classes like that. she seems to pick a few students that get on her nerves and snaps at them, and most often these are the ones who are late a lot or don't follow her instructions.LNI102 2006-08-17 20:19:06 +0000 UTC
I studied for this class more than any other my first semester in college, but it's pretty cut and dry. She calls on you a lot, but it forces you to learn the language, so it works out in the end.ITALIAN101 2005-12-23 15:05:30 +0000 UTC
This class was really good if you are serious about learning Italian. She does call on students every class, but if you don't know the answer it's not that big of a deal. You do get a good amount of homework but it's not that hard. The quizzes are easy because she gives you practice quizzes and practically tells you what's going to be on the quiz.LNIU101 2006-12-02 19:57:13 +0000 UTC
