One of the best professors I've had at Northeastern! She is very engaging in her lectures and always encourages participation. Best Professor I have had at Northeastern. Took her for Intro to Financial Accounting and also Audit. Convinced me to add accounting as my concentration. As you may guess from the other reviews Professor Dodgson is a fantastic teacher. I would say she was my favorite professor at NEU. She teaches in a way that is clear/concise; furthermore, she's always more than happy to answer any questions/help students outside of class. Take her classes if you can!!! Absolutely loved Professor Dodgson. Honestly the best teacher I ever had in my life. She made accounting easier and actually somewhat enjoyable despite what other people had to say about this course. Prof Dodgson gives out an outline of the chapter and tries to simplify concepts for students; however, her tests and quizzes are much more difficult that the homework and practice questions in class. Professor Dodgson is one of the greatest teachers I have had at Northeastern. She cares a lot about her students, and conducts her lectures very effectively. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone understands the material and is always available outside of class. Amazing professor! She prepares great lectures, creates chapter packets with practice problems, gives good feedback, has a a clear grading system, and really CARES about her students. One of my favorite professors this semester as she spends a lot of time preparing lectures and helping her students. She holds additional office hours before midterm/exams and is always open to questions. Weekly homework assignments, two midterms, some quizzes, and a group project.
