lecture were not helpful and neither was her. did not provide help when asked and frankly is bitter. class is hard. if you even want anything close to a B you have to work overtime x10. He does not care about the students. He refuses to solve problems on paper and only uses excel, and then requires solving on paper for exams. Provides inaccurate exam review lists, puts stuff that was never see before, and does not help AT ALL in preparing. Lessons are boring and not really helpful; could get homework help outside of class but don't teach it, so learn by yourselfnot so easy. Many ways to average your grade, but they are hard. Prof Matthew is just a pain to be around. He doesn't help you with things, in or outside class. Just replies with "check the syllabus" or will give you a non-helpful hint. One of the nicest professors I've ever had, especially in the accounting department where many professors are rude and out to get you. His tests are very straightforward and all questions are modeled after the numerous examples he has on Canvas. His lectures are informative and helpful. Personally, I was not a fan. He is very two faced and is not a very friendly person. His lectures were fine but I often found them confusing and all over the place. He did do some current events at the start of class which were chill and he would ask if there were any questions at the start of class. Be ready for lots of side eyes. Overall. He is a great professor who knows how to teach. He will support you if you put in the extra effort and that is what matters. He uses tons of practice problems provides a lot of material to study ahead for exams. Exams are tough, but effort is rewarded. Would recommend him to anyone. Interesting guy for sure. He clearly knows accounting, but he doesn't realize that WE don't know accounting. He doesn't seem to explain things from the perspective of someone just learning accounting.
