I am now a senior at Northeastern and without a doubt, Patrick is the best professor I have had. The best way I can demonstrate this is while attendance is not mandatory, not a single student would skip class. Loved Sports Comm! Caring and willing to adjust to student needs. He lead thoughtful discussions about sensitive topics such as LGBTQ issues and racial injustice in sport. Not a ton of work - weekly discussion posts, media diary entries and two group presentations and three short media essays throughout the semester. Patrick was great! It was such a fun course, and he made learning engaging, interesting, and overall a good time. He did a good job cultivating a great atmosphere in the class, which is super important for public speaking.
