Art students who needs a science requirement, DONT take this class. Despite being a senior researcher at Harvard Smithsonian, this professor's extremely incompetent, cannot lecture at all, gets almost ALL inclass equations wrong, and never puts anything she teaches in class on the test. The class could be a lot harder than it actually is. You can afford to miss a few classes and be okay. Take notes on the PPs and textbook for all the tests. Grading scale is curved and you can drop the lowest grade. Horrible. She is completely useless, doesn't respond to e-mails, and does not know how to teach a class AT ALL. The "textbook" was pointless and she didn't even use it ever. do NOT take her class unless you absolutley have to. there must be easier science classes out there that will fill the NU core if you're in a major outside of physics. she's a nice woman, but my god, she cannot teach students who aren't harvard-level (her e-mail is at harvard). oh, and the textbook is only 80 pages, so have fun trying to learn it yPHYU111 2008-12-20 12:47:46 +0000 UTC
