Three 1 page reflection reports, and 2 group projects + 2 exams. Assignments are chill but exams are case style open-ended questions. If you want an easy A don't take his class. Tests are hard and he takes significant points off if you don't use the specific concept he wants. He grades like his life depends on it. Cuts points for no reason and never gives any clarity. Takes tests full of questions that are open-ended, but expects only one type of answer. When i say this is the chillest dude i mean it. The only class i used to look forward to going. Makes every single lecture engaging with games, podcasts, and discussions. Loved Shane! Absolutely amazing professor and teaches the class in a much more engaging way than other professors. Pretty easy grader on the writing assignments. Tough (but fairish) grader on the midterm and final. If you have a 92.9, he will not round and give you an A just a heads up.
