Took my first ever business course with her and can say it was super helpful. She is always easily accessible and willing to help; every office hour I attended I walked out with more clarity. She is better than people give credit for. She's a little difficult to hear sometimes, but she just had brain cancer and came back to teach, so she's a little dedicated. If you lock in and ask for feedback and actually pay attention in class it's fine. She gives a lot of practice questions and teaches clearly. JUST PAY ATTENTION. I really liked her, she changed a new leaf from her earlier 1 star reviews . She is very kind, accommodating, and always there to help. We do lots of practice together as a class and she walks us through everything step by step. She gives a lot of credit for just showing work on tests. you MUST show up to class. I got through this course without looking at the textbook, only doing the homework and going to lecture. She is incredibly sweet and objective when it comes to grading. Professor wang reads of slides. Also, the class is not a safe space for people to ask questions, as she often laughs, smirks, and dismisses answers or questions that do not fit her agenda. I usually never write negative about professors but this one was necessary. She has literally made me cry and given me immense stress and anxiety. She gave me an F on my recent test because I reached 10 minutes late and I begged and pleaded but she couldn't care less. I can't believe that there are reviews here saying that she is caring and she's not that bad. She is honestly the meanest professor I have ever had, she is a terrible teacher and will do anything in her power to make sure that you suffer through the course and have the worst experience. I really enjoyed taking Professor Wang's class! Her teaching style is effective and easy to follow along (frequently worked through problems in class, started with simpler problems and worked up, etc), and exams are similar to homework which made it easy to prep.
