This professor was nice, but his tests were harder than the practice, be ready to practice a lot and to teach yourself because that's what you will be doing. This professor was very sweet and approachable, but where things fell short was when it was time for the midterms. The handouts were very clearly written and made sense. I just wish the same could be said about the exams; they were worded very confusingly. The McGraw-Hill homework wasn't helpful at all. Slides, Handouts, Quizzes, Homework, and Tests were all well done. If this were a rate my course, it would be a 5. However, be prepared to be called out in class when he thinks he can make a joke out of you. Extremely nice professor. His lectures are just reading off the slides so it may not be everyone's style. Required to buy Mcgraw Hill Connect for ~$100, but the questions on them for HW aren't very helpful. Handouts he gives are extremely similar to the exams. Very kind and approachable professor who clearly cares about students. The course is lecture-heavy and business/accounting just wasn't for me, so I withdrew late. If you pay attention and complete the handouts, you'll do great. The handouts are extremely extremely helpful. Fully understanding them WILL help you ace all exams. He just moved to America this semester and takes the bus to campus daily. He really deserves no hate. Had the privilege of being in Solomon's accounting class as a freshman. I will say he is a very sweet man, but his lectures make no sense. He reads off slides. He gives exam prep questions but the exams are entirely different. Sometimes difficult to understand through accent.
