Ok Svetlana, sorry to do this to you girl. She's nice and all and has a nice smile --sometimes she smiles at random things though, a little weird-- but teaching ain't her thing. Her group projects are so difficult and her grading is wack. I mean, my friend and I turned in identicle homework and got different grades :/ ok... Chegg teaches better.MGSC2301 2018-08-24 20:20:32 +0000 UTC
Svetlana is a great teacher! Come to class, do all projects and exams and it's almost a guaranteed A.MGSC6200 2018-04-30 15:53:23 +0000 UTC
Worst professor i've ever had. Often yells at students who ask questions. Grading is very intense and way to over the top for working professionals who have full-time jobs. The content covered is not relevant for real world working. Her lectures are made way more complicated than they need to be. I almost left Northeastern because of this class.MSC6200 2018-03-07 19:23:36 +0000 UTC
The best professor I have ever had. I learned so much from this class.MGSC2301 2018-05-07 12:02:58 +0000 UTC
She is tough, but what you would expect for graduate level work. Don't act like a victim and make sure you listen in class. If you are focused and work hard, she is great. She doesn't have time for bull. Bad reviews are most likely from people who can't respect the cultural differences and who don't want to put in the hard/extra work.MGSC6200 2018-01-13 16:24:10 +0000 UTC
This is the worst professor I have ever had in my life. Her lectures are EXTREMELY boring and she has no TA's or office hours. She gets REALLY UPSET when you ask her any questions. She humiliates students sometimes if they ask too many questions, or if they have a hard time with SPSS (software we use in class) and need help. I got zero help.MGSC2301 2018-01-30 16:03:49 +0000 UTC
She isn't the worst professor you could have, but you don't want her. 6 projects and 3 tests in this class. The projects start out easy and get A LOT harder. Tests on the other hand are pretty hard, but you get a cheat sheet for all of em. YOU CAN PUT ANYTHING ON THEM SHE DOESN'T CHECK*. Homework is easy. You can get an A, but she won't help you.MGSC2301 2017-12-09 16:58:29 +0000 UTC
I would say Professor Todorova is a knowledgeable professor. However, I would not recommend her to any starter of statistics. Her heavy Russian accents pose a big problem for you if you haven't learned anything about stats before. Assignments are CHALLENGING but POSSIBLE to get through if you do your work on class well and go over stuff regularly.MGSC2301 2017-11-27 21:34:36 +0000 UTC
As mentioned before she has a thick accent, but you do get used to it. This is not an easy class, so keep that in mind. There's lots of HW, both individual and group projects dealing with Excel and SPSS. Also, Tests are difficult unless you have a solid grasp of the concepts. It seems like she has improved since the previous comments but not much.MGSC2301 2017-11-19 22:55:01 +0000 UTC
Svetlana is one of the worst professors I've had. She has a thick accent (you get used to it eventually), but her teaching style is awful. Will sometimes get mad at students who don't know what to do, especially with computer programs. Many projects, some in groups. The only upside is she allows cheat sheets on tests. Avoid!MGSC2301 2017-11-16 14:25:44 +0000 UTC
Todorova is a great Statistics professor. Though it is true she has a strong accent, it is by no means hard to understand her. Tests are really easy as long as you do the classwork and multiple choice pre-test. There is a lot of homework but it is easy and important to learn.MGSC2301 2017-04-18 12:39:28 +0000 UTC
dont choose this teacher. worthless teaching method and heavy accent makes the class unnecessarily difficult. She also is never available outside of class: no email replies, no office hours.MGSC2301 2017-03-21 08:41:50 +0000 UTC
Would definitely take her again! One of the coolest professor at neuMGSC2301 2016-04-27 10:25:18 +0000 UTC
One of my best professors. A lot of projects, but they're enjoyable. Her classes are interesting and engaging. I recommended her!MGSC2301 2015-12-29 12:03:30 +0000 UTC
Great teacher really cares about her students. It is hard to get an A but I felt that I learned a lot.MGSC2301 2015-05-12 15:06:22 +0000 UTC
