He is nice and brings in great guest speakers. However, he makes capstone much more difficult than it need be. There is a large group project with an assigned group. He also is very unclear in what he wants and grading of papers is harsh. Funds of business is an easy intro course and the reliance on consistent textbook readings and multiple choice exams reminded me of high school. However, Prof Crittenden is very charismatic and you'll learn a lot from him alone. He is clearly passionate about the material, however that doesn't always translate to the most effective teaching. Expect cold calls on the assigned case studies, and the final grade is dependent on only a few tests/ assignments. lot of work compared to other prof's for this class. But no one matches his personality, professionalism, and environment of learning he creats. Professor Crittenden's section of Strategy in Action is taught in a more difficult fashion than all of the other sections. There is no doubt that he knows what he's talking about, and that his high-energy makes class somewhat interesting. Prof Crittenden is an entertaining lecturer who strives to build relationships with his students. He is open to questions and is passionate about the material. We had lots of easy to complete homework assignments to boost our grade and the exams were all multiple choice. It's a shame that a professor who is knowledgeable,goofy and energetic at the same time can't make students know the material well. His class is basically pure memorization. There's little room for anything outside reading and knowing the book verbatim. His assignments are often unclear too.
