Professor Shechterman is a very smart woman and has a great amount of valuable experience. She does not send many assignments but provides very poor specifications on assignments and grades very harshly. She's all around an average professor. Nice woman, but her teaching style is not very effective in my opinion. Her quizzes are heavily based on textbook material, which is not completely covered in class and her powerpoints are pretty much useless. Very fair, honest, respectful professor. Really good feedback, turned around quizzes within the week, and adjusted the grading policy based on feedback from the class.
