If you go to office hours things make a lot more sense. He is eager to help. Frequently calls on people in class if they look like they aren't paying attention or look confused. I would take this class again. Gives a lot of homework, but also a lot of opportunities to have the highest grade possible. Tests are hard, have to work a lot for an A.AEM2210 2015-12-17 10:37:27 +0000 UTC
He's upfront with you about what to expect from him, saying he enjoys picking on students. I felt discouraged from asking questions and I frankly didn't want to go to his class. His lectures seemed to contradict readings which made tests difficult. Being a part time professor, he was hardly ever available for help.ACCT2301 2015-12-04 02:58:32 +0000 UTC
The absolute worst teacher I have ever had. I would avoid at all costs. He is incredibly rude and condecending towards students. He creates a very aggressive atmosphere. Always making fun of student who are not in the accounting concentration. He rarely taught material, and was a tough grader. He is never on campus to help students.ACCT2002 2015-03-25 19:58:59 +0000 UTC
Very enthusiastic about the subject & has a good experience but unorganized in class and explanations are unclear. Gives little to no assistance after class (TA has no office hours) and is incredibly condescending towards people who do not choose his career path of choice.3416 2015-03-21 19:39:38 +0000 UTC
Pros: Attendance is not mandatory, he is enthusiastic about the subject, class is graded on a curve (25% of students will get A's, 25% will get C's) Cons: Relies on the homework to teach students the material. Tests are much harder than the material he ever taught in class Would not recommend.3401 2014-12-10 02:53:42 +0000 UTC
Willing to listen to students needs. Will answer questions. Makes himself available. If you want an A you will need to put in some effort. Not a teacher who tries to purposefully fail his students. Gives you every opportunity to succeed. Turn in all of your assignments and study for the tests and you should be fine. Would definitely take him again.ACCT3401 2014-10-06 18:01:06 +0000 UTC
Prof. Beg is a great teacher who mostly teaches by example. For every chapter he gives a short 10 multiple choice quiz which basically just makes sure you read the chapter before coming to class. He loves to teach by example and does demonstration problems in many classes. Lastly, 25% get an A, 50% get a B, and 25% get a C at the end.ACCT2301 2015-04-17 16:08:52 +0000 UTC
Zeshawn is my favorite professor at NEU. He was always willing to help you outside of class, even on unrelated material. You have to work for your grade, but he curves so 25% of the class gets an A. Tests are difficult and all MC, but Connect and Learnsmart help. Case studies were fair and helped my grade. Would definitely recommend, so helpful.3401 2014-11-03 12:49:54 +0000 UTC
I had to study on my own to get an A.ACCT3401 2014-08-26 10:12:12 +0000 UTC
Zeshawn was a super nice man, I really liked him and he was a good professor and really wanted you to succeed. He was funny and made you pay attention in class. Beware that he does his class on a curve though, so I ended up with a poor grade but especially if you're good at accounting, you'll be fine taking him.ACCT2301 2015-03-24 10:39:15 +0000 UTC
