Dr. Daniels is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is incredibly knowledgeable and uses his experience in the field to great effect in lectures. Bi-weekly essays are intimidating, but he has a specific formula that you can follow to easily get a good grade. If you ever have the chance, PLEASE take a class with him. you won't regret it.PSYC3400 2026-02-18 16:03:04 +0000 UTC
Professor Daniels is easily my favorite professor at Northeastern. I've had many great profs, but I have learned the most from his classes. Don't be scared by the writing assignments and lectures; he is extremely fair. Lectures are hilarious and engaging; he is exceedingly passionate and knowledgeable, just a wonderful and compassionate person.PSYC3406 2025-10-15 16:58:11 +0000 UTC
Be careful, this might be the best professor you'll ever have. Whatever you do, don't be intimated by the 30 page syllabus this class is a blast and made me excited to wake up in the mornings. He also lets you attend his meditations for extra credit which was really cool. Enjoy!PSYC3400 2025-12-17 06:01:23 +0000 UTC
Yes, 8am for this course is WORTH IT! I've learned so much. Grading: 50% papers, 25% participation, 25% attendance. Syllabus: is literal art(it's thorough). Email for Office hours appointment EARLY ON to get feedback on paper before the deadline(fills up fast). Lots of extra credit opportunities! No final, just a presentation.PSYC3406 2025-04-15 22:18:06 +0000 UTC
Such a kind, engaging professor who truly cares about helping students connect with the material. Lectures can be long, but discussions are fascinating. He offers plenty of extra credit, gives great feedback, and his office hours are super helpful (but fill up fast!). My favorite professor—also take his Clinical Psych class if you can.PSYC3400 2025-10-31 17:23:23 +0000 UTC
His lectures are amazing. For the papers schedule office hours with him frequently and he will look over them!PSYC3406 2025-04-14 13:33:19 +0000 UTC
1/2 dozen papers, okay lectures, and little effort needed otherwise. As part of my reflection in the course, I believe Prof. Daniels' shadow seeks mass intimacy with his students and his behavior reflects an over-idenfication with his exernal self.PSYC3400 2024-12-12 06:39:53 +0000 UTC
Read the syllabus and the writing manual! I swear he gives you everything you need to succeed. It's amazing to me that he gives each student in a class of over 70 personalized and thorough feedback for every assignment. His lectures are incredibly engaging and wonderful, though it is hard to participate in such a large class.PSYC3406 2025-02-20 03:04:20 +0000 UTC
Great professor and there are a lot of papers, but he didn't have any tests. The topics of all the papers are up to you, so it really gives you a chance to learn more about what they are interested in. He outlined everything very well in the syllabus, so there were no surprises. If you show up to class and do your papers you are going to get an A.PSYC3400 2024-12-06 13:36:07 +0000 UTC
I LOVE THIS GUY!!!!!!! Professor Daniels is super sweet, passionate, hilarious, energetic, and knowledgeable! The best professor I've had. He is truly the best in class, though his thoughtfulness and care extends far beyond outside of class. Don't let his syllabus scare you! I get up on Fridays just for his class.PSYC3406 2025-02-20 03:01:07 +0000 UTC
Dr. Daniels is likely the best professor that I've ever had. He is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the field of psychology and is happy to talk about anything you might be interested in. Attendance and participation is graded but the lectures are very engaging. He often uses fictional sources to help explain concepts.PSYC3400 2024-11-26 14:04:32 +0000 UTC
Professor Daniels is easily the best professor I've ever had. He made an already very dense course one of the most entertaining and engaging classes I've taken. He made it worth the 8am lecture time.PSYC3406 2025-01-08 02:50:07 +0000 UTC
Dr. Daniels is incredible. Besides being hilarious and relatable, his lectures are fantastically organized and paced well. The content is interesting and he presents it in an engaging and understandable way. Every other week, expect to submit a short-ish essay based on topics from class (take notes to help you out!). Truly one of the best around.PSYC3400 2024-11-25 20:06:23 +0000 UTC
Daniels might be the best professor at the school. His lectures were so engaging, even at 8am. He's very good in office hours and very approachable so don't hesitate. His assignments may seem intimidating but there is a lot of room for creativity and he gives a wide berth. The class is fully paper based. I really hope I can take more of his classesPSYC3406 2024-11-12 15:30:17 +0000 UTC
This is the second class I took with Professor Daniels, and I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first one. He is very well-educated in his field and a great professor. His class is paper-based (6 throughout the semester), so if you enjoy writing, take him! The topics covered are interesting, and he is a great lecturer.PSYC3400 2024-10-13 18:11:35 +0000 UTC
