Loved Dr. G! The class was really interesting but definitely got more into the neuroscience side of psych which I didn't except. Participation was based on slack posts which I LOVED. I LOVE Dr. Gobrogge. I have taken 5 classes (all the ones he teaches) and his teaching style is very aligned to support students and enable them to succeed. This professor is amazing! His lecture style is about promoting interesting conversations rather than teaching to the test. Unlike other teachers, he bases his lectures of what is interesting to his students. His extremely smart, kind, and considerate. Lectures are engaging and varied. Shows a lot of interesting films in class. Assignments are creative but tedious and time-consuming, and there are a lot of them. He grades mostly to completion, so it is easy to do well. He is very approachable and encourages student participation and feedback through Slack. Dr.G is without a doubt the best professor I have taken at Northeastern. He always makes himself available to his students if they ever need help with the projects or the material. Do yourself a favor and take prof Gobrogge. Not only is he really enthusiastic about what he's teaching but he also really wants you to succeed. HE IS THE BEST.
