I am shocked that Northeastern hired Dr. Yeaman. She is the most clueless professor I've ever had. We even caught her answering a student's question with AI. Class is a waste of time, unless you want to make friends, but in terms of learning, there was almost none done in class. Terrible teacher. Completely Clueless. She know none of the course content and has no critical thinking skills. Literally useless. Do Not Take Her Class. She will literally bog down your engineering level. The final project was incredibly stupid and because of that will definitely impact co-op interviews. Should be fired. Yeaman is a sweet and kind soul, but barely knows what's going on herself. You can tell she cares for her students, but is just often time confused on the concepts as she is teaching them. You can tell Mrs. Yeaman is genuinely a kind soul, but she doesn't know what she is doing. Answering questions only leads to more confusion and she has stated that she is "learning with us". Professor Yeaman is extremely kind but unfortunately she seems to not know any of the course material. The pace is extremely slow, and yet she fails to understand the concepts of what she is teaching. Its as if she's learning with us and is seeing the slides for the first time while presenting.
