I began my Master Degree with the Java class(ISY 100) that he taught. I like his teaching style. Honestly, I never feel bored when taking his class. He emphasizes more on the design and problem solving technique. Moreover, his class really helped me got a co-op at Oracle. 205 would be a good platform for learning the horizons of application development. This course explores object modeling to hottest technologies which could be used for developing smart applications. The professor is very detached from the course. What is being taught is not reflected in the assignments and projects. Often the assignments did not have a clear rubric and the TA team were not responsive. The class size is very large and thus the TA team were probably overwhelmed.
