she is super sweet and gives everyone a chance to do well. she is amazingPSYC2320 2025-12-13 16:54:30 +0000 UTC
Easy A course. 5 quizzes (lowest dropped/open note), 5 writing assignments, discussion posts, and a short final paper. Her lectures can be boring, but she does fun experiments. Go to class because a lot of the time she says things but doesn't put in on the slides and they end up being a question on the quiz. She gives extra credit after each quiz.PSYC3466 2024-04-29 20:40:10 +0000 UTC
Dr. Baker is a fantastic professor. While her lectures are sometimes a bit dry, she is incredibly knowledgeable and can eloquently answer any question you throw at her. Quizzes were open note and there was an extra credit opportunity after each one. The content was interesting and well organized. Would absolutely take her again!PSYCH3466 2024-03-28 14:17:37 +0000 UTC
This class was pretty tough, there was a fair amount of outside work involved. However, Dr. Baker is one of my favorite professors at Northeastern making it more than worth it. Although the class can be difficult, Dr. Baker always makes time for her students when they are struggling and really wants her students to succeed!PSYC4612 2018-04-26 12:03:13 +0000 UTC
I had her for cognition and its the best psych elective I've yet taken, thanks to her. Its an awesome subject to begin with, but she makes it even more fun. Her tests are a joke too, which is awesome.PSY300 2006-11-08 12:21:57 +0000 UTC
I had her for cognition, the class is pretty easy and if you have taken Fundamentals of Psychology, there is a lot of overlap in material. There are only 3 tests with lots of extra credit on them (it's possible to get a 115% on a test). There is no midterm or final and no homework. Should be an easy A unless your stupid like me and pulled a B+.PSYU466 2006-01-05 14:26:32 +0000 UTC
So good. Exams and final is open notes. She allows you to retry missed questions from exams for credit, provides extra credit questions for all exams, homework is easy.PSYC2320 2025-12-12 22:47:24 +0000 UTC
your grade is based on 5 quizzes, 5 brief writing assignments and 10 short discussion posts. no exams. final is a short paper. Quizzes are open note and super chill. Slightly tough and no answers are online (but they're all in the textbook). She's very sweet, on the ball and replies to all emails. I stopped going to class cuz i hate lectures.PSYC3466 2024-04-16 23:03:18 +0000 UTC
I love professor Baker! She clearly knows what shes talking about and makes it easy for her students to do well. As long as you take notes and pay attention during the lecture an A is guaranteed. Definitely one of the best psych classes I've taken at Northeastern.PSYCH3466 2021-03-23 14:01:23 +0000 UTC
Easy class, 4 tests throughout a semester, all opennotes.PSYC2320 2025-12-06 16:20:53 +0000 UTC
Really good prof and provides a lot of materials to help you. Quizzes are open book (not required to have a textbook though), and she presents slides that are available on canvas. Class isn't too difficult but you do learn a lot.PSYC3466 2022-04-07 02:32:40 +0000 UTC
Professor Baker is a great teacher. She posts the power points from class and sends you review slides before the tests. If you know the review slides, you'll do well on the test. She's really helpful and willing to meet/answer any questions you have. Overall, easy to do well and interesting classPSYCH3466 2012-12-08 14:09:34 +0000 UTC
Very nice and caring. I had taken stats in the past but in this class I began to truly understand it. The material looks intimidating upon first glance but she does a really good job at explaining it. Exams are just like the homework that's assigned and there aren't any unexpected curveballs.PSYC2320 2025-04-28 07:09:07 +0000 UTC
She is very sweet but the class is very bland. Basically just a set of mostly short papers and some pretty easy quizzes and discussion posts. Easy and I wish I there was more interaction at this level of course. I felt like Cognition should have challenged me more than what I got.PSYC3466 2022-01-01 03:35:43 +0000 UTC
Best teacher ever in stats field. Like her teaching style. Instructions were clear. Giving every student chance to get a nice grade even when did wrong questions in exam.PSYC2320 2025-04-04 18:16:46 +0000 UTC
