Perhaps one of the greatest professors I ever had the pleasure of taking a course with. He prints out notes for each lecture and walks through them with vigor and understanding. Horrible all around - NEU please donate my tuition to one of the Youtube creators helping us get through this course. Amir assigns hideously long HW that is unrelated to course material. Frequently goes 10 minutes over class and only goes over surface level concepts. Professor Farhat is definitely the hardest professor I have ever had. While he might have been the hardest, he knows everyone can succeed if they put in the work. Don't take a class with him! He provides you his hand written notes and occasionally will mention something different. That something different will explode all over your midterm and final. At Northeastern University, I worked with Dr. Fahrat as a TA. I had just arrived; an international student not much familiar with the university, city, english, etc, etc. I found him very helpful, clear in his talk, friendly, and easy going. I wish him best. I took Prof. Farhat's class for EECE2412 Fundamentals of Electronics (not 2142). I was quite unsure of taking a class with him and thought that I might move to the next section.
