She's super knowledgeable about her field and definitely wants her students to succeed! Don't be scared to ask questions because she'll always go back and reexplain things. There was a lot of content within lectures but it's easy to do well in the class if you try. Grade consists of 3 exams, 3 homework assignments, and weekly online hw quizzes.PSYC3466 2026-01-08 23:02:04 +0000 UTC
It was a very insightful course overall and prof D is very knowledgeable in the psycholinguistics field. She gives extensive feedback with the chance to improve with rewrites. Research proposal assignment is very fun and makes you think critically. She grades fairly and is always available by email or office hoursPSYC4658 2025-05-02 17:08:17 +0000 UTC
She is a great professor and really educated in her field. Three exams throughout the semester, in-class but open note (no final). Exam questions can be difficult to follow sometimes, so it's important to understand concepts, but the course material is interesting. Pay attention during the lectures and take good notesPSYC4522 2024-05-02 20:19:22 +0000 UTC
Easy class. Wish I took it as an underclassman as a lot of the course materials were review from other Psych classes, so it was really boring to take as an upperclassman psych major. Then again, don't mind an easy elective my senior year!PSYC2370 2023-04-13 18:51:01 +0000 UTC
Professor DiBattista really cares about her students and gives good feedback. There are three assigned papers for this class. The paper's content is mostly covered in class.PSYC46O0 2021-11-01 17:54:45 +0000 UTC
this course is a waste of time.PSYC4601 2021-04-12 19:29:26 +0000 UTC
The best Professor ever, without qualification. Her lectures were interesting and filled with information and she had a command of the material. Questions were encouraged and the tests were fair with good review. Helpful after class and in office hours. I took 4 total courses with her, including a 1-on-1 session she agreed to so I could graduate.PSYC4520 2018-01-08 19:45:05 +0000 UTC
I love her so much! She let us use cheat sheets for all 3 tests, which were pretty easy. She is incredibly knowledgable in her field, is super easy to talk to, and has fire fits. If you can take her for Cognition, TAKE HER! I thought I wouldn't like the class, but she made the content interesting and presents it in an easy to understand way!PSYC3466 2025-12-23 03:55:56 +0000 UTC
Great professor! Knows her stuff and her lectures are full of things to learn. Homework is interesting and helps with the exams. There are 3 homeworks in the whole semester and have 7-8 short answer questions each. 3 exams in the semester (no final) which are MCQ and open note - easy if you take thorough notes. The course material's intriguing.PSYC4522 2024-04-28 07:12:40 +0000 UTC
Best lecturer I have ever had, hands down. Prof DiBattista really knows how to connect with her students and create an engaging class. Lectures are very interesting, exams are open note and easy if you take thorough notes in class. She is very accessible outside class. Highly recommend this class, it made me minor in psychology.PSYC2370 2022-04-08 15:50:02 +0000 UTC
Professor DiBattista was the best professor I've ever had. She is incredibly passionate about cognition. I was dreading taking this class and surprisingly she has made me very fond of the study of cognition. In fact, it was my favorite class of the semester mostly because of her stellar lectures. She cracks some jokes and is very approachable.PSYC3466 2025-04-11 18:40:38 +0000 UTC
I found that the lectures for this class were interesting and I learned a lot. You should go to lectures because a lot of the spoken points showed up on the exams. She does give points back on exams and a bit of extra credit towards the end. The textbook is necessary to get full points on the homework assignments.PSYC2370 2020-12-22 05:03:11 +0000 UTC
if u pay attention in class you'll end with an A, if you dont, I dont see how you can get above a C. class was interesting.PSYC3466 2025-01-06 04:10:23 +0000 UTC
