A post is due every week and based on 20+ page readings, plus parts of a 2-3 draft papers part of your 20 pg end of sem paper. You can't get away from reading because she references super specific questions on the closed/no-notes exams. You have no time to be thoughtful about your answers in exams due to time limit and the tough questions.COMM2304 2022-09-28 18:43:31 +0000 UTC
The lectures were okay however the professor was a very HARSH marker. Submitted an assignment 10min late (due to slow upload on canvas) and he knocks of 10% of the grade!! I wouldnt take this class again as it wasnt very engaging.COMM2301 2021-08-26 12:26:53 +0000 UTC
Bobbi is such a good teacher. She really cares about the subject and wants to see her students succeed. She was always more than willing to meet with me about papers and how to improve in her class. While she is very specific with what her expectations are, she will always clearly explain what she wants. I would definitely take her classes again!COMM2000 2018-04-02 23:01:36 +0000 UTC
I really like her class which is named public speaking. I am a foreigner, and I was so afraid of public speaking at first. She makes the class atmosphere so nice that everyone can have equal chance to practice respectfully. Also, she also provides a lot of useful comments of improvement. As a student, I learnt a lot in her class.COMM1112 2017-04-10 14:52:14 +0000 UTC
Bobbi was an excellent professor. She had a very clear schedule of assignments and due dates from the first class. The exams and the grading was fair and the lectures clear/easy to follow. All around good class.COMM2304 2018-04-28 10:08:25 +0000 UTC
Bobbi is really nice and is very thorough in her lectures. She takes the time to really explain things in detail and makes sure you understand. She great about giving practice problems and study guides for exams, and we always reviewed. Her class is by no means an easy A, but she's great about being available for extra help if you need it.COMM2301 2017-04-11 22:01:29 +0000 UTC
I really enjoyed taking public speaking with Bobbi! I normally don't like giving speeches, but I left the class feeling much more confident about speaking in front of a group of people. She definitely provides you with the skills necessary to be able to successfully give speeches. Overall, she was a fair grader and I would recommend her to anyone!COMM1112 2017-02-22 11:41:55 +0000 UTC
This has been one of the best classes I've taken in college so far. As a professor, Bobbi is amazing and so incredibly educated. Her lectures are so informative and engaging. For a 2000 course, it was a little bit too much work and she was very hard to please but I loved every minute of it. She honestly brought the course to a new level. Amazing!COMM2304 2018-04-25 00:09:31 +0000 UTC
