Loney is a great presenter. He loves his subject, and that really makes you WANT to go to his class instead of just reading the textbook. Loney is incredibly clear and is an excellent speaker. He is very active and excited throughout his lectures, and makes the course entertaining. Loney is hands down my favorite professor. He's got a great sense of humor and knows how to keep lectures interesting and engaging. Tests are extremely fair; if you pay attention in class and do the reading you'll be more than fine. He's a pretty good professor. He's clear about what will and will not be on his exams and gives adequate extra credit opportunities. He talks a lot about his "friends" when he's trying to explain something and requires extensive use of the text book which can get pretty annoying, but overall his class is not that hard and can be interesting.PSYC1101 2014-04-13 16:51:05 +0000 UTC
Amazing teacher! I think I'm switching to a psych major in part because of him. He has a great sense of humor and very interesting lectures. It's an hour and forty minutes long, and those get easily tiring, but with him it stays interesting and engaging throughout the class. The best professor! Interesting lectures but relies heavily on the textbook. Doesn't allow for much class discussion because he doesn't believe there is time but great for office hours!
