Amazing professor and very enthusiastic. his class theme is games which makes classes and assignments engaging and fun. homework can feel like a lot especially during midterms however he is always willing to give extensions, definitely take advantage of that. tests are easy and open note. my favorite part of this class was the semester project.GE1502 2026-04-30 22:31:25 +0000 UTC
He was a very good professor in my opinion. He made cornerstone fun and engaging. He did provide a decent amount of homework, but it was always to our benefit. All the homework contributed to our learning and the exams were pretty easy if you did the homework. Great professor that can give you a solid intro to coding, design, and team-oriented projects. All tests and quizzes are very manageable, and he allows you to bring cheat sheets. The C++ exam and quiz were both on paper, not online. Grading for the final project was very lax, even if your project wasn't the best. Davis was always so excited to teach and was very knowledgeable. We had fun themes for our projects and they were super open ended. Great professor with extremely kind grading. He genuinely cares about his students and their wellbeing, offering tons of opportunities for extensions and extra credit. One of the best profs I've had. Amazing guy, committed to our best experience possible. I learned a lot from him. The whole class is game themed which was fun and the projects interesting. GREAT! I took for engineering design and i loved it! hes very entertaining and class is super interactive -- you get out what you put in. quizzes are 10 tries and open note and homework is mostly pretty fun (room to be creative), definitely takes some time though. unique class format and learned a bunch -- built escape room as final project!GE1500 2023-04-07 19:14:57 +0000 UTC

Dr. Davis is an amazing professor. Lectures were very helpful and done very well. The group project is well structured and quite fun, try not to get too behind with it though. You will learn in this class if you put even just a little effort in. He is very understanding and always offers free extensions.
