Ed was extremely understanding during my crisis communication class. I was struggling with some health issues, which translated to a rough online semester. After explaining my situation, Ed worked with me personally and restored my confidence in the subject matter. Grateful professors like him exist!CMN6050 2013-02-15 20:32:31 +0000 UTC
Ed's class strays from the traditional format in that there isn't a lot of note taking or reading from the book. The class is mostly examining case studies and everyone participates. He keeps it interesting by showing YouTube videos of current news stories. A fair grader if you apply principles from discussion in your case analysisCRSCM1 2012-03-02 13:13:38 +0000 UTC
Never got papers back until after the final. So no feedback. He graded with opinions of actual criteria. Very political and had favorites, I am obviously on the opposite side of the political fence than him and he let me know it in a paper I wrote, it was an OPINION paper! Didn't even cover everything I thought he would have. Not IMPRESSEDCMN3051 2008-08-18 12:03:11 +0000 UTC

its an interesting class but HE HAS NO IDEA HOW TO GRADE!!!!! there is no criteria, no rubrics, nothing... it's like he just decides to throw out a grade and give it to you. Doesnt give A's. Sometimes you'll get an A- when you feel you deserve a B but then when you feel you deserve an A+ you get a C! If you're looking for an A - not this class!!!CRISIMANA 2006-11-09 11:47:23 +0000 UTC
