This was a very hard class and she is a very tough grader but she is very kind and wants to help you. The exams weren't that bad, as long as you studied what was on the rubric. One group project whole semester, and you get to choose your partners. She is a stickler to formatting and will take off points if you forget page numbers.INTB1203 2025-01-06 18:55:36 +0000 UTC
Phenomenal professor who genuinely cares and wants to see you put in effort to get a good result. Participation matters and she respects if you put in effort in that way. Choose a good group... will be essential for how easy/difficult this class is (besides exams). She is very qualified and passionate about her work. Strongly recommend. Loved it.INBT1203 2024-12-17 03:06:22 +0000 UTC
She was a great professor and really nice. Interesting class but be prepared for lots of group work. She does grade tough on certain assignments but at the end slightly curves grades. A- is very attainable if you put in the work you can pull away with an A. Overall would highly recommend Professor Banalieva.INTB1201 2023-04-23 23:23:00 +0000 UTC
Dont take her if you dont want to suffer!!!!INB201 2016-03-01 18:32:07 +0000 UTC
Great class if you are motivated and willing to put effort. In addition, we learn to think analytically and gain first experience in collaborating with other. Not a class for those who are seeking an easy way out.INTB6200 2013-09-23 18:39:36 +0000 UTC

Banalieva is amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed her class; she's knowledgeable, engaging, and helpful. The class is a fair amount of work, but the projects and debates are enjoyable. Participate and read the class pack.INTB1102 2011-03-31 18:54:15 +0000 UTC
Highly recommend this teacher for anyone wanting to take international business. She is extremely nice, always available to meet with you, and clear on telling you what she expects in work. Have 2 Tests the entire semester, 2 news article write ups, and a major IB project. Must show up to class, participate. Do this and ur guaranteed a good grade.INB203 2009-04-05 23:37:00 +0000 UTC
Majority of grade is based off of participation, attendance, and in class excercises that are guaranteed 100's. I did not like this because I never went to class. However, if you aren't intelligent and would like to be graded more on coming to class, definately the one to take. Final project and hw counts for almost nothing.INBU201 2008-04-15 11:46:00 +0000 UTC
loves her job and is knowledgeable, i would say pick ur groups wisely because group projects are worth over 40% and be ready to put in the effortINTB1203 2024-12-17 00:55:28 +0000 UTC
She gets confused by technology a lot, which is annoying. She is very harsh with her participation grading. She's not the worst professor ever, but it's just very boring, she isn't very helpful, and she gives a ton of group projects with unclear instructions.INBT1203 2024-11-18 21:23:53 +0000 UTC
THE most enjoyable class I took last semester. A lot of class discussion and many people offering their opinions. Not a difficult class content wise, but there are many projects and papers. Make sure you choose a smart group, because your grade will be heavily dependent on their work. Participation matters but still possible to get full points.INTB1201 2019-05-19 03:18:09 +0000 UTC
A LOT of work but fun teacherINB201 2009-01-04 16:02:20 +0000 UTC
There is a lot of work, and you spend a lot of time outside of class, but she is very fair. I learned a great deal from this professor, and really enjoyed the class. Participation is a must, and reading is a must. If you are looking to coast, this isn't the class, but it is a beneficial class! She is an excellent professor.INTB6200 2013-06-28 10:20:05 +0000 UTC
The best professor ever. She will always help and encourage you. You will learn a lot from her, not just about International Business, but also about life. Attend every class, it is an enjoyable class. Don't be afraid to participate, just say what is in your mind. She will not embarrass you even if you have a stupid comment. Take her for INBU203!INB203 2009-04-04 12:27:35 +0000 UTC
