Very harsh grader and exams were difficult compared to what is presented in the textbook and slides. He did boost the classes overall grade, so I went from a B- to a B+, which I feel like was fair for the effort I put into the class. Very challenging class, but you get the work that you put in. Lectures are quite long, but very entertaining and easy to follow with. He encourages participation, which makes the class a lot more engaging. Make sure you study hard and read the textbook. Professor Dau is a great professor who truly cares about his students, and actively considers any feedback you give him. I really enjoyed his lectures as I found them informative and engaging, and would recommend his class to anyone with an interest in the subject matter. Prof Dau is very passionate about his job and truly cares about his students. His lectures are more or less engaging and his quizzes are straightforward. Professor Dau is a nice guy and he really enjoys teaching Intl Bus. I had prior knowledge about issues in international business and haven't learned anything new in this class, except a few specific case studies. Professor Dau is passionate and wants students to succeed. He is eager to listen to and meet student needs while maintaining the integrity of class content. His workload is heavy, but readings are enlightening and case studies and activities supplement textbook reading perfectly, unlike some other classes. His mix of industry and entrepreneurial experience, as well as his academic background, are refreshing. His tests are easy but he holds you accountable and your effort will be reflected in your final grade. Professor Dau is very engaging and his lectures are interesting. He is very passionate about what he teaches and great at conveying information. His exams are difficult and memorization-heavy but fair. He makes good use of class time with group activities. Dr. Dau is very kind and cares about his students' well-being over anything. He gives solid lectures but is an incredibly tough grader. The tests are tricky and the group projects are time-consuming but fun to be a part of. Professor asked us to do the TRACE evaluation in class and basically made sure that 100% of the class completed it before he released the grades. He is a VERY VERY tough grader when it comes to your final group paper. Professor Dau is a very caring professor who has a lot of experience and enthusiasm for the subject matter. There is a lot more reading than your typical high school class, however, it is doable.
