I think Professor Parker means well, but Thanos thought he was a savior. Save yourself, and do whatever you must to escape the annoying and constant hell that would await you if you took Professor Parker. Run. If you can't run, walk. If you can't walk, crawl. If you can't crawl, transfer. If you can't transfer, find Jesus.BUSN1101 2025-08-12 14:08:49 +0000 UTC
He is sadistic and grades very randomly and strictly for no reason. He doesn't count wellness days as a valid absence and doesn't care if you are genuinely sick. He seems unsatisfied no matter how much work you put in. Don't take him.MKTG2201 2025-03-21 16:28:05 +0000 UTC
Cancelled class 6 times over the course of the semester. Class average on the first exam was a 45% because KP made up questions and did not proof read the exam. Never once provided a substantive lecture on brand management, every class felt like a fight with him about grading. Severely outdated. Hmmm... Do yourself (and GPA) a favor and avoid!MKTG4506 2024-12-20 01:29:49 +0000 UTC
SAVE your time and do not TAKE HIS CLASS. His grading is based on feelings and he's an egotistical shiny bald headed man who thinks he knows it all about business. He doesn't count wellness days as a valid absence unless someone died. Nothing you do will get an A unless u give him head. PLEASE don't ruin your college experience and dont take himBUSN1101 2025-04-30 05:37:01 +0000 UTC
Don't take if you care about your grades. Doesn't grade assignment and then keeps saying he will grade but then assigns another assignment. he should stop assigning more things until hes graded everything. He once cancelled class and then told us because of that missing day we dont get a review session for our next quiz.MKTG2201 2025-03-20 19:30:00 +0000 UTC
I was only taught one lecture by him this semester. Class consisted of him talking about himself, complaining about his life, him giving us meaningless busywork, and class arguing about his grading policy. Sure he gives you a rubric, but he also has a different imaginary set of expectations that you magically have to follow in order to get an A.MKTG4506 2024-12-16 15:55:08 +0000 UTC
I hoped the green line would hit me so I didn't have to go to his class. He doesn't even know what he wants to see in the projects and will critique everything.BUSN1101 2025-04-14 19:29:20 +0000 UTC
tough but goodMKTG2201 2024-11-21 20:15:54 +0000 UTC
do not take under any circumstances, I had to take him because the class is my requirements. Doesn't teach, we have class 4 days a week and he teaches two days and let us do projects for the other two days, grades obscurely without explanation. crazy how northeastern is still letting him teachMKTG4506 2023-11-16 18:25:38 +0000 UTC
Over-hated in my opinion. He's a good guy, wants to be tough on you to get you ready for the real business world. He's very business smart, but not that tech savvy. If you put in extra effort with your group project then you can get an A-. Chances are you get screwed and you get a B though.BUSN1101 2025-04-09 19:58:46 +0000 UTC
Parker is a great guy with a good personality. He does spend a lot of time talking about himself, but I do think that his stories were interesting. If you pay attention in class and do the right type of studying you'll be okay, and have a good time. Class is weighted mostly on 3 exams and 2 semester-long group projects.MKTG2201 2024-08-13 16:11:27 +0000 UTC
The professor begins the class by saying, "grades don't matter." He mostly talks about his experience rather than sticking to the syllabus. As a result, his course only covers a minuscule amount of textbook material. Furthermore, the assignments lack specific instructions. Finally, he just responds "ok..." to all student comments.MKTG4506 2022-08-14 00:14:47 +0000 UTC
If you want a un-athletic, slightly intelligent, and shiny bald headed man to talk AT you not TO you about business, this is just the course for you. I received a C as my final grade for the course, and heres why: he's self centered, I don't like bald people, & HE CAN'T TEACH. Short and sweet, DO NOT take this course. The KP shall NOT be validated.BUSN1101 2025-03-12 01:24:13 +0000 UTC
Prof Parker is a tough grader, and has stated in class that GPA is not very important. However, you learn a lot from him. He has a wealth of experience in the marketing field and a way of telling personal stories that captivates interest. If you have grit, enjoy participation, and value learning over an easy A, then Professor P is a solid choice.MKTG2201 2023-12-27 12:34:26 +0000 UTC
While I like the Ken as a person as he likes his students and pushes them to become better business people, he doesn't know how to grade and give proper feedback. He'll give one thing of feedback and deduct points for it, then say "oh it's just a suggestion! No need to actually change it!". An A IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! If you care abt ur GPA, DROP!BUSN1101 2025-02-24 16:35:57 +0000 UTC
