Took online version it was extremely easy would recommend if looking for a chill async class. With it being async, I will say communication for assignments was poor and would wait way too long for feedback on assignments. Harsh grader on essays. Would respond within a day to emails which was nice.ORGB3201 2025-12-17 05:49:45 +0000 UTC
I took Paulette for Intro to Business fall 2021 semester. She is an amazing teacher! In all honesty this class was not hard. It was personally challenging because the entire class was surrounded around creating a business and presenting for three demo days and one final presentation. To pass this class, just show up and participate!BUSN1101 2021-12-09 03:26:24 +0000 UTC
The majority of the course is based on the TJX project and she chooses her favorite group to get an A, and the rest have to try and get a B or C. Not very helpful if you need help on the project even though it is worth so much. You learn nothing in class since lectures are mostly just her talking about her family.BUS1101 2019-04-12 20:44:59 +0000 UTC
Excellent textbook and choice of case studies. Graduate level MBA course so expect to study hard. Feedback is weak. Speaks to what you failed to do rather than confirming you're on right track. A bit arrogant. Little direction.HR6200 2011-09-14 13:31:40 +0000 UTC
She is horrible. Fo r the first 5 or so quizzes atleast 5 people would go up to her asking why they got a question wrong. She would basically just say "because" even though they had answered the question correctly. BAD TEACHER.ORG201 2009-11-04 17:40:20 +0000 UTC
A lot of work to get an A and a hard grader. Liked the course content for the most part. No exams, just daily quizzes and cases.HRM201 2009-09-10 23:28:44 +0000 UTC
BY FAR the best intro to business teacher. Two years in a row, two teams from her class have made the final four. And the year before the past two, three of the final four teams were from her class. She knows exactly what she wants and never tries to screw you. If you have a good idea, she'll fight for you until the death. You want her as a teacherCBAU101 2009-01-14 17:06:24 +0000 UTC
I disagree with all the other comments on McCarty and Into to Business. You don't do much work (one presentation, quizzes on every reading and speaker, and one written plan) and she helps you out the entire way. Other Intro classes really had a lot of trouble....and you can get an A if you don't make the final four....CBA101 2008-12-23 09:26:36 +0000 UTC
Had her for introduction to business in Fall of 07. AMAZING teacher. If you care about class or even life in general (as most kids don't) she will be a perfect match for you. I was the first general studies "FAB 4" team to win, and she by far helped us get there. McCarty for US President '08BUSU201 2008-10-20 00:04:08 +0000 UTC
People give her a bad rep, and I definitely went into it dreading the class- but the class is extremely straightforward- do the readings, work hard on the papers, participate and you'll get an A. It's worth it to make the effort because she is fair. The class is pretty interesting also- so that helps. Go in with a good attitude, and you'll do well.HRMU201 2008-08-24 23:25:20 +0000 UTC
PSYCHOTIC. If you get on her good side and kiss up then you will get good grades, otherwise expect a C or lower. In 5 years at Northeastern, I have never encountered such an AWFUL judgemental professor.HRM101 2007-09-22 19:24:24 +0000 UTC
DO NOT BUY TEXT BOOK! You never use it. Professor does help you along the way with editing your work and giving you suggestions before you hand them in. She can get on your nerves but she is helpful.BUS101 2006-12-31 20:41:18 +0000 UTC
Interesting class. The grading really sucks. Class participation is a big part of the grade yet there is no way she can remember. She grades unfairly. Take it if u are ok with a B or B+ and learn more than usual while getting your insulted for not knowing something.HRM209ORGBEHAV 2006-05-04 01:24:52 +0000 UTC

I felt that i learned alot through the course of the classes, but the downside is that she gave the constant impression that we were doing and we were doing extremley well. The end of the semester rolls around and my entire group got B's including one member that did NOTHING which she knew about. So much for peer evaluations.INTRO 2006-01-20 16:06:13 +0000 UTC
