If you care about your grade, take another professor. She is one of those professors who takes pride in students getting bad grades and even though she says attendance is dumb, does participation questions that you have to be in class for. There are five main projects for this course, and she gives out super low grades (class averages were 70-80, which she thinks is high). Students are taking it to fulfill the NUpath credits, and I put in A LOT OF TIME and EFFORT, but she still gives me 85-ish ranged grades. Dr. Hutter is passionate about this course. She was energetic and always offered help. The course can be tough because grading is strict. FOLLOW THE OUTLINES! 5 speeches (3 big ones) and a final exam. If you are debating between COMM 1112 and 1113, choose 1113 without a doubt. This class was beneficial on so many levels!
