Prof Fenton is obviously passionate about sociology. However, lecture slides weren't clear, and she doesn't post them anywhere, so if you don't go to class get notes from someone else, as all of the exams were based on class discussions. Great teacher, do the readings and talk to her outside of class and you will do well. You need to do reading for all of her classes but at least they are thought provoking. This instructor loves talking. She gets off topic sooo easily that you will get annoyed sometimes. She loves to talk about her family and friends. Her class seemed easy before I signed up, but I realized that you really need to be interested in sociological perspectives. prof fenton was super cool. really fun class to go to. we discussed a lot, and instead of a text book she had us read 3 books by sociologists, a few of which were really interesting. don't have to show up all the time, although i'd encourage it. tests are written short response and definitely require examples from class discussions/lectures.SOCL1101 2016-12-23 16:29:34 +0000 UTC
