Very engaging and totally knows his stuff. Best strategy is to go to class (everything from the reading is in his lectures, and he often tells you explicitly what will be on the final) but if you do that and take notes it's an easy GPA booster. Took his Soc. of Violence and Hate class and loved it! He kept it interesting, showed great movies, and performed magic tricks. If you have any interest in serial killers this class is for you! AWESOME CLASS!!! you will not go wrong taking this class. He is a great prof. the class is really interesting and is relatively easy if you come to class and read what you need to read. Anyone who doesnt like this guy is insane. Does cheesey magic tricks in the middle of class to try to help people stay awake-but it makes me love him more. Very nice guy. Interesting class. Fun Professor, but do not take this class in the giant 400person "showcase" class. he tried hard and is funny, but i found this to be the least interesting of my classes, mostly from the fact that it is a 2 hour lecture. in a classroom setting, i bet this class would be betterSOCOFVIO 2006-01-13 23:05:53 +0000 UTC
