Loves what he does, I felt bad I took this during the summer because there was low attendance for the class, which meant low participation and as a result it felt like he was talking to a wall. Prof. Kimball made stats really easy to understand. This class is based on 4 exams (online) and 4 homework assignments, which were all pretty light. I've never taken stats before, but Prof. Kimball made it seem really easy. One of the most straightforward and simple professors I have had at Northeastern. Very nice guy. His lectures usually end early and the grade is based on take home quizzes and homework assignments. Professor Kimball is a fascinating guy and his course was an easy A. Quizzes are straight off the ppts and papers are graded easily. However, it is still a very interesting and valuable class. He was great. Lectures were on interesting topics and he did a good job of including other materials like videos and documentaries to expand on his slides. Had a couple exams and then group and individual projects due at the end of the semester. Nice guy and I enjoyed attending class even though it wasn't mandatory. Prof Kimball made stats very easy to understand! He was very nice and clearly wanted his students to succeed. Class was pretty easy, exams were online/take-home, and grading is based on 4 exams and 4 homework. I took PSYC2315 with him, the online psych stats supplement. Syllabus is very clear about the grading criteria, and the class is very self-paced after he posts each module. His recorded lectures are very helpful and the assignments are easy after watching them.
