I literally got the only C I've had in my life but I would take this class 10 times over. I took a class with rev freshman year and then again my junior year. This isn't just a class it's an opportunity for transformation. rev is accessible always, he cares about his students, he made me a better writer a better friend and overallCOMM3409 2022-02-25 17:10:38 +0000 UTC

Greg is the best professor I've ever had. I will definitely be taking more of his classes in the future. He genuinely cares about all of his students and shows it. Yes, he can be hard on you, but it is worth it for the improvement you will see in your speaking and writing. Even after the semester ends, students go to his office hours for discussionCOMM1210 2020-04-28 21:09:51 +0000 UTC
Greg is a great teacher, imo. However, he is very tough! Lots of readings, especially legal/law based readings. If you are deciding whether to go to law school, he is willing to give advice. Helps to have public speaking/performance experience in this class. Some said he grades too strict/not fairly but I did not see this. Do the readings!!COMM1331 2018-02-12 22:32:56 +0000 UTC
He's amazing. Hands down the coolest teacher I had since I got into Northeastern. Very friendly, very intelligent, very fun. He doesn't really care about attendance. But if you go to his class. he expects you to be well prepared and ready. Awesome!COMM1241 2016-04-14 23:52:00 +0000 UTC
I have taken two classes with Greg Goodale and I might consider switching my major to be able to take more of his classes! Greg won't just teach you a course, he will contribute to developing your personality. You don't need to be book smart to succeed in his classes. You just need to be a critical thinker. He is a true educator.COMM1412 2016-04-14 09:37:21 +0000 UTC
Greg Goodale singlehandedly validates the cost of tuition at Northeastern University. He won't hold your hand, and he won't make it easy for you, but I could not recommend a professor more. He may overwhelm you, but ultimately you'll benefit a great deal from taking a few of his classes.COM4603 2013-08-16 16:58:28 +0000 UTC
Phenomenal professor. Truly concerned with the well-being of his students. Helpful, smart and funny. Made me and infinitely better public speaker. By far my favorite class.COMM1112 2011-11-08 16:11:06 +0000 UTC
Greg is an amazing professor. Not the easiest, mind you, but definitely worth the extra work! I loved the topics we discussed and the way he ushered the class through them, but let us do most of the talking. I hope to take another of his classes before my time at NEU is expired!COMM2331 2011-05-05 09:46:12 +0000 UTC
I honestly have just one thing to say: TAKE HIS CLASS - BEST EXPERIENCE EVER, HANDS DOWN !COMMCOMM 2011-05-02 16:31:43 +0000 UTC
Greg is the best teacher at this University hands down. I took his Persuasion and Rhetoric class last year. It started out as my most hated class and ended up being my absolute favorite class that I couldn't get enough of. He challenges you in a way that helps you learn. Their needs to be more teachers like him. I want to take more of his classePR2201 2010-09-20 15:58:22 +0000 UTC
I didn't have any idea why I would take this class but I soon realized that it was great. Greg is a great teacher who is very, very difficult but remains interesting. He puts most of the responsibility to the students to learn the material. It's a quirky class but Greg made a good point take the professor not the class. Great class overall.COM2331 2010-01-06 14:10:52 +0000 UTC
He will challenge you, but when it's all said and done you will have actually learned a lot. All around great professor, will definitely try to take more of his classes in the future.CMNU112 2009-08-22 11:02:42 +0000 UTC
Quite an intellectual. Take this class if your interest is in learning, challenging yourself, and developing life long communication skills. Don't bother if you have an apathetic approach to class.CMNU331 2009-04-10 11:06:27 +0000 UTC
