REALLY nice guy. Class is really boring though. You need to do the readings and show up for the classes where he shows videos and you'll be fine. I skipped like 70% of the lectures and got a B but I also didn't do the readings or watch the videos. It's an easy A if you have more common sense than I do.PSYCH1204 2011-12-28 13:12:39 +0000 UTC
the professor is really nice. He is very knowldgable. However , this class is not easy for international students Since he uses high level of English grammer in his tests. This class is one time experince that will change your mind about many things.PSYC1204 2011-03-27 22:36:17 +0000 UTC
Professor Lane is adorable! :) He's like 85 and always has his little juicy juice every morning. The class is very easy to follow, although it is often a little boring, but all and all it's a good/easy A class. The movies are interesting. Make sure you buy the class packet!PSY204 2010-10-19 20:21:40 +0000 UTC
Psych of Prejudice was a great class with really interesting material. Professor Lane was a really helpful and intelligent man. Look out for his juice boxes, very cool. He's very into the deaf population. His exams are pretty tough if you don't read the articles he assigns. But overall, awesome class and I learned how to be a **** =]... jk jkPSYU204 2007-11-07 18:22:45 +0000 UTC
Nice guy. The tests are very easy multiple choice, 25 25 and 50 questions. That's it. the 50 is the final and then you're done. He's more about making sure people understand what he's teaching than what grade they get. That said, this course is an easy A.PSYCHPREJ 2006-12-05 14:51:10 +0000 UTC

I thought his tests were quite difficult. If the exams were comprised of essays, anybody who attended his lectures could get an A. I feel more aware of prejudice after taking the class, but I wish my grade (C+/B-) reflected just how much I learned in the class. May retake next spring to help GPA.PREJUDICE 2005-04-23 01:29:28 +0000 UTC
Very nice, liberal (of course) professor. Great for a diversity elective - classes are relaxing lectures and only assignments are readings. Quizes are multiple choice - generally quite easy but sometimes includes some obscure questions. Also loves to focus on the Deaf WorldPSYCHOFPREJ 2005-04-19 21:42:30 +0000 UTC
Professor Lane's a great professor. He's very passionate about his topic, and is incredibly informative and interesting in his lectures. He only gives two quizzes and a final, all of which are very easy if you keep up with the material. He's also extremely nice and easy to talk to.PSY204 2008-01-26 23:40:56 +0000 UTC

Lane surely knows his stuff! Attendance isn't mandatory because the class is so big. You don't have to take any notes so missing a class is common. Really easy A. Only bad thing is the 80$ packet of paper you need to buy for his class.PSY204 2007-11-23 00:51:26 +0000 UTC

Professor Lane is a nice man and is well published within the Deaf Community. I believe that he could make his lectures way more interesting by involving students once in a while. The class consists of you doing the reading prior to each class and him reading off of the lectures notes, which are already in your course packet.PSY204 2006-12-12 20:33:50 +0000 UTC
