She is hands down one of the best professors at Northeastern. Cares a lot about her students. Grade is mostly based on the client consulting project, which is time-consuming but extremely worth it at the end for personal skills. This is absolutely the Organizational Behavior professor you should take! I honestly had fun in this class, and felt like it was so applicable to the things I encountered on co-op. Prof. MacNiel is really nice and cares about her students a lot. She facilitates a very welcoming environment for students, and has interesting lectures on managing change. This class is a lot of work for a business minor class. There is a ~300 word reflection after every class. 25% of the grade is also a group project which involves interviewing personnel from an organization and presenting the findings. Class is majority group projects (whole semester project), good professional opportunity unless you get stuck with a rough group. Teacher is phenomenal, very caring, wants you to learn, consistent class discussions. Grades based off rubric. Participation matters, but its easy to participate. The class was fun with the group projects and there were no exams but her attendance policy is really difficult as she does not excuse you out of class even if you are sick beyond the two wellness days you can take which is really not practical if you end up falling sick or have any sort of emergency.
