The professor often made inappropriate comparisons (e.g., MLK to Charlie Kirk), shut down discussion on Palestine due to personal discomfort, joked about being on medicine that amped her up (and how she'd rather be home cleaning on it), and skipped office hours for yoga. It felt unprofessional. Also ended the semester at Thanksgiving to vacation.COMM 2025-12-02 17:34:45 +0000 UTC

Really great professorCOMM 2022-11-18 18:22:37 +0000 UTC
Professor Heidi was a joy to have as a professor, even at 8am. She loves what she does and leads a laid-back class with open discussion guided by powerpoint slides. She offers 2 points for perfect attendance, and allows 2 unexcused absences. Very reasonable, kind, clear professor...highly recommended!COMM1231 2012-05-01 08:00:33 +0000 UTC
I took nonverbal comm with Dr. Heidi and can whole heartedly say she's a phenomenal professor who I would recommend to any comm major. She truly cares about the intellectual growth of her students and challenges them to reach their greatest potential. She breaks down the work (20 pg paper) into smaller assignments to make it more manageable. GREAT.COMM 2015-01-25 00:16:35 +0000 UTC
