Learning SolidWorks isn't really something you need a teacher to lecture for. He makes it harder by assigning lots of homework and having a harsh test grading distribution. At least once a class, he finds a way to berate his students/Gen Z population in general. He lacks empathy. It is truly fascinating how he is still teaching in this school, especially because every single upperclassman that I've talked to was just as traumatized. He sold us his own textbook and every class session was him reading the tutorials out of the book word for word. Every tutorial is click-by-click instructions. He managed to detract from the value of the textbook by making it distracting to follow along with his bumbling, half complete sentences. Professor Zeid is much better than many people say he is. Yes, his lectures may be long and boring, however, he does a good job at explaining the info and making sure that students understand the topic. Professor Zeid doesn't care how his students study. He was my capstone instructor and he merely responded to your request to meet. Zeid really knows his stuff, and he teaches it right at the proper level for Industrial Engineers learning to write code. Be ready to take notes! Zeid's method is to write on the chalkboard for the whole period and he expects you to take everything down. Willing to help. Somewhat lenient. If you have a decent reason that you couldn't complete an assignment just tell him, he will almost always help you out.
