Awful professor! I took operations research with her and she makes simple concepts extremely complicated. I used to ask my friends in another section for their professor's slides that were 10-15 slides at best which took prof griffin 200 slides !!!!! Unnecessary complicated info. She's terrible. It should be an interesting and engaging class considering the content of Operations Research however, she is so dry and does not care. Try avoiding this teacher. Her way of giving class is completely outdated. She literally writes information of the board and expect you to copy everything and memorize it. Visual aids are rare and she is often so technical that she never gives the overall usefulness of what she teaches. She knows a lot about the topic but she is a terrible teacher. Throughout the course she doesn't provide any resources and lectures are usually technical and long. If you memorize what she says you will do good, she doesn't care if you understand concepts or not but rather to make things the way she wants. Professor Griffin is very knowledgable and spends a lot of time researching and staying up on what's happening in the industry. She's always available if you need help.
