Had Fall 2019. Only graded by tests & discussion posts. Huge class so pretty impersonal, but I loved her!! My fave class of the semester. She's obviously passionate about neuro and her own work with mice. Makes clear powerpoints and I'm pretty sure the tests are only based off them, but reading the textbook as a primer to each lecture was helpful.PSYC3458 2020-12-17 00:33:27 +0000 UTC
She is nice/approachable and willing to help. Tests/exams are based on fine details. Her class is a lot of work between quizzes/exams, case study, twitter postings, and journal assessments but it was refreshing to be in a class that wasn't solely based on exams. Group assignments totaled 20% of final grade which I didn't like.PSYCH4514 2018-04-24 20:07:19 +0000 UTC
hyper focused on details in her material & grading. Failed to mention three major group projects that were all jam packed at the end of the semester back to back. We only had 3 days for one of them. Said there would be chapter quizzes what she meant was weekly. Said the open response Q's on exam would be just sentences but were 8-10 mark essays.PSYC4514 2018-04-13 15:48:58 +0000 UTC
Professor Honeycutt is amazing! She is a great lecturer and keeps the class environment interesting. She engages in discussions and is very clear when explaining things. She loves it when people ask questions so don't be afraid to ask. She is available outside of the classroom and always tries to help. I most definitely recommend her!PSYCH3458 2017-02-02 17:27:38 +0000 UTC

Professor Honeycutt is so sweet and really wants everyone to enjoy learning the material. The material isn't super difficult - but it's a lot of memorization. Tests are pretty easy, you don't have to read the textbook as long as you go to class. She explains things really well too and class is usually interesting.PSYC3458 2016-10-25 12:08:54 +0000 UTC
Lectures are a bit dry; mostly reads off of slides. Tests require a massive amount of regurgitation - she only has 2 tests, along with some outside work. However, it was her first time teaching this 4000 class, so take my exp with a grain of salt. Very nice teacher personality wise, but has pretty unclear grading/more busy work than usual classes.PSYCH4514 2018-04-19 12:19:33 +0000 UTC
