Ingemi is a great professor, even if her lectures can be a bit dry at times. Tests are open note and not too bad, and she will go over everything in-depth at office hours. Easy points from discussion boards and extra credit at the end of the semester. Very manageable class if you pay attention, and lectures are recorded in case you don't.PSYC3458 2026-01-26 21:29:31 +0000 UTC
Dr. Ingemi is a great professor who's really passionate about the course material. While a lot of the content is dense, she does a great job at explaining important concepts and is always open to answering questions. Also, quizzes and exams were both take home, but very application based and therefore required a lot of thinking and problem solving.PSYC4570 2024-04-22 03:09:56 +0000 UTC
Taking Prof. Ingemi's Biopsych class was an absolute dream. I was scared at first because of the lecture-heavy teaching style, but her slides and study guides included everything we had to know. She never turns down a question someone has in class. She seems so passionate about neuroscience and wants us all to succeed. 100% would take her againPSYCH3458 2020-11-09 20:17:08 +0000 UTC
Prof. Ingemi is a very nice lady who is very willing to help. She explains concepts well in slides and is very knowledgeable about neurobiology. The slides are pretty dense and specific, and tests can be tough because you really have to apply what you know. Also, tests are worth 80% of the grade. However, she definitely wants students to succeed.BIOL3405 2020-06-25 19:30:02 +0000 UTC
Dr. Ingemi is super nice and very knowledgeable. I would recommend her for any course neuroscience/biology related. Her lectures are SUPER dense but she records them. She does Poll Everywhere in class so you have to attend lectures. Her tests are online but she makes them really tricky. There's a lot of content in this class but she's greatPSYC3458 2025-04-28 13:56:38 +0000 UTC
Super nice and helpful. Encourages asking questions! She changed the testing style to be all open-ended when I took the class. While this made me nervous, it changed how she taught the class and made me feel like I could actually apply the skills I learned in professional settings. Lectures are dense however so you should always attendPSYC4570 2021-12-16 17:16:29 +0000 UTC
Very nice woman, but her teaching style does not work for me (and probably many others). Lectures are dense, and she talks extremely slowly to the point where it's impossible to stay engaged. Very hard to take notes and slides were unhelpful. However, the exams are all online, so everyone does very well.PSYC3458 2025-04-23 22:21:29 +0000 UTC
Professor Ingemi is a great professor. Class is pretty easy to do well in, exams are online and there are lots of extra credit opportunities. She obviously cares a lot about her students and is very open to accommodations when needed. Makes jokes in lectures and is generally very chill. Attendance is based on pollev and she drops 2 classes worth.PSYC3458 2025-04-23 19:23:01 +0000 UTC
The materials is super overwhelming. You will learn A LOT in this class.PSYC3458 2025-04-20 18:28:51 +0000 UTC
I love her. She genuinely loves what she is teaching. Although exams tend to have trickier questions, as long as you pay attention in class, you will do well. I 100% recommend taking her.PSYC3458 2025-02-09 23:13:05 +0000 UTC
Dr. Ingemi is very friendly, understanding, and willing to help! The lectures are dense and have a lot of content but as long as you are present in class and take good notes they aren't too difficult. Personally, I found the content really interesting. There are poll questions that count as attendance (not graded on accuracy). Exams are online.PSYC3458 2022-04-05 23:44:36 +0000 UTC
Prof is passionate about the subject matter and that helps make the class more engaging, but lectures are 1.5 hours of dense content. Its extremely bio heavy for a psych class. You have to pay attention to everything she says otherwise you spend a lot of time reviewing recorded lectures after of class. Overall good teacher and fair grader thoughPSYC3458 2021-12-22 20:51:17 +0000 UTC
Professor Ingemi really cares about her students and is passionate about the material she teaches. The lectures can be very dense at times but if youre interested in the subject material it is a really engaging class. The class is almost completely lecture, and the grade is almost entirely tests (however they are pretty fair).Overall great teacherPSYC3458 2021-12-21 05:26:07 +0000 UTC
Professor Ingemi was helpful and accessible. As an underclassman, the content felt like a bit much. Her lectures were packed full of detailed information so I suggest attending lectures and taking notes. Grades consisted heavily of exams, but also discussion posts and in-class participation.PSYC3458 2021-12-13 14:47:04 +0000 UTC
This class is the most lecture heavy class EVER. The lectures are 1 1/2 hours and just filled with facts that you are expected to memorize. There isn't too much outside work but this means that a large chunk of your final grade is exams. The exams and quizzes are unnecessarily hard and she throws in so many trick questions.PSYC3458 2021-05-03 17:17:27 +0000 UTC
